Our Approach

Rigorous by Design, Transparent by Default

Most cybersecurity recommendations are influenced by who's paying. Ours won't be. We're developing a scoring methodology built on four non-negotiable principles. A full public methodology document will be published as we move toward general availability.

Formula-Based Scoring

Every vendor score will be computed algorithmically. No human assigns scores. No editorial discretion. The same formula applies whether you're a Fortune 500 vendor or a 10-person startup.

Evidence-Weighted

Claims without evidence will receive zero weight. Verified customer outcomes, third-party audit results, and real deployment data are designed to drive every recommendation.

Recency-Decayed

A five-year-old deployment success should matter less than one from last quarter. Our scoring will apply time-decay so recommendations reflect the current landscape.

Structurally Non-Biased

StormKing holds zero equity in any vendor it recommends. Equity earned through performance is held in a separate entity. The operating platform has no financial incentive to favor anyone.
